Community Music Malvern and Malvern Link with Cowleigh are excited to be working in conjunction to offer opportunities for younger children to sing.
Singing is great for building confidence, language skills, mathematical development and positive attitudes. All this as well as learning the foundations of music, leading to a life-time of pleasure and opportunity.
There will be tasters for pre-school children, as well as for children in the Foundation stage and in key stage one.
The pre-school sessions will be very interactive and fun, with an emphasis on pulse, rhythm and having fun with sound making.
Reception and key stage one children will enjoy learning about beat, rhythm and pitch whilst playing games and singing songs from all over the world.
Sessions will run for Foundation stage children on Thursday June 16th 2:30 – 3:15 and on Thursday June 30th 2:30 – 3:15 at the Ascension Church Hall.
Sessions will run for Reception and key stage one children on Tuesday June 14th 3:30 – 4:30 at St Matthias Church, Thursday June 16th 3:30 – 4:30 at The Ascension Church Hall, on Thursday June 23rd 3:30 – 4:30 at St Matthias Church, on Tuesday June 28th 4 – 5 at St Matthias Church and on Thursday June 30th 3:30 – 4:30 at the Ascension Church Hall.
